We are faced each day with negative influences that have the potential to distract us from living a godly life and fulfilling our purpose in Christ. Paul warms Timothy and us to avoid those who negatively influence us so that we may not fall into sin and get distracted.
Paster Ben shared from Joshua chapter 1 on how God encouraged him. Joshua was reminded of the need to prioritize God's Word in order to find success in his mission. We can be encouraged by the same thing. God's word will be our guide into the future of fulfilling our calling.
Vision Sunday is one of our favorite Sundays in our church. We took time during this service to celebrate all that God did in and through our church in 2022 and casted vision for where we believe God is leading us in the new year.
Our Last week of our Christmas series called "He Shall be Called" we learned about how Jesus is our "Prince of Peace". We learned that peace is not the absence of trials or difficulties in our life but the presence of Jesus in the midst of them.
The third week of our Christmas series called "He Shall be Called" we learned about how Jesus is our "Everlasting Father". We learned that we don't have to wait until eternity to experience all the Jesus has for us through a relationship with Him.
The second week of our Christmas series called "He Shall be Called" we learned about how Jesus is our "Mighty God". Jesus is stronger and more powerful than anything else that has ever been created or made. Jesus is above all and is all knowing and in control over everything.
